Loch Long once provided viking warriors a sea route into the Scottish highlands and the caves in the valley provided shelter for Robert the Bruce. Since circa 1840 the bank of the loch has provided a quiet, scenic setting for Seabank. Set in the heart of the Arrochar Alps and within the Loch Lomond National Park, Seabank offers comfortable and attractive ground floor accommodation with outstanding views of Loch Long and its surrounding mountains. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the local area, or somewhere comfortable to break a longer journey.
Seabank offers a double and family room which sleeps up to 4. In addition a child cot can be added to either room free of charge. All are ensuite and have ample facilities including TV/DVD, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, tea/coffee making, towels, WiFi, Electric Boot Dryers and extra bed linen. We also offer a hearty traditional breakfast using good quality ingredients and free range eggs. Vegetarians are catered for, and we will endeavour to cater for any special dietary requirements.
Arrochar is only 5 minutes from beautiful Loch Lomond and 55 minutes from Glasgow Airport and Edinburgh, Glasgow, the Highlands and Inner Hebridean Islands are all within easy reach. Arrochar is in the heart of Scotlands National Park with ample visitor opportunities for sightseeing, sports and recreation. Seabank is an ideal base for many outdoor activities which include cruise trips, golf, fishing, canoeing, mountain biking and particularly all levels of climbing and hill walking. For the less energetic the bus stop is within 50 metres of the front door with regular bus routes to many 'must visit' locations and the train station on the famous West Highland Line is within easy walking distance.
Add to all this the convenience of the village store right next door and the award winning Village Inn restaurant/pub a 2 minute walk away and you could not be better located.
